Kremlin: Russia, Türkiye trying to solve problems with bank transfers

08 April 2024 17:41

Press secretary of the Russian president Dmitry Peskov has said that Russia and Türkiye are trying to solve problems with bank transfers that have arisen due to sanctions.

Peskov made these remarks during a press call in response to a question about whether Russian officials plan to hold meetings with Turkish colleagues before Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s visit to the US, Kommersant reports.

“The talks on all financial issues are constantly held to find a way out of this situation. There are certain problems, but the reason for these problems is obvious. This causes big damage to the interests of both our and Turkish economic operators,” he noted.

Peskov did not mention any details about bilateral meetings.
