Light plane crash near Shellharbour Airport in Australia kills three photo

A light aircraft crashed on the east coast of Australia near Shellharbour Airport, killing all three people on board, according to Australian media reports cited by Caliber.Az.

The accident occurred around 10:00 local time, approximately 100 kilometres south of Sydney.

Police said the plane went down shortly after taking off from the airport and caught fire upon impact with the ground.

“Rescue services arrived at the scene after receiving reports of the crash. Unfortunately, all three occupants were killed,” authorities stated.

The area has been cordoned off by police, and an investigation into the cause of the crash is currently underway.
