Trump sees military potential in planned Washington triumphal arch

US President Donald Trump has approved plans to convert a triumphal arch planned for construction in Washington into an advanced military complex.

“I have agreed to convert the magnificent Triumphal Arch, planned since the Civil War Era many years ago <...> into a top grade Military Complex/Triumphal Arch <...> to house, store, and have the rapid ability to use large numbers of drones, plus Snipers <...>, and hold large quantities of sniper ammunition in storage,” he wrote on Truth Social.

Trump stressed that he made the decision “at the strong request of the United States military and for National Security purposes,” while describing the planned structure as the grandest arch in the world.
