Mongolian government decides not to declare state of emergency due to protests

The State Great Khural of Mongolia has decided that there is no need to declare a state of emergency for the time being due to protests in the country's capital, Ulaanbaatar.
According to Gazeta.ru, this was reported on the website of the country's government.
The government noted that due to the current situation, the session of the State Great Khural was held online.
"At the meeting, it was decided that there was no need to introduce a state of emergency," the statement said.
At the same time, they stressed that if the situation worsens, the Mongolian government body will support the adoption of appropriate measures based on the recommendations of the National Security Council of the country.
