Montenegro stops broadcasting Russian TV channels
08 June 2022 13:17
Russian Ambassador to Podgorica Vladislav Maslennikov has said that Montenegro has stopped broadcasting the Russian TV channels.
“The matter rests in the TV channels that were included in the sixth package of EU sanctions against Russia,” Gazeta.Ru quotes Maslennikov as saying.
“However, the Russian TV channels were switched off without the Montenegrin government’s formal decision to join the abovementioned package. Such a decision has either not been made, or at least it has not been published,” he said.
The ambassador added that Channel One Russia and Pobeda TV channels are not broadcast in Montenegro.
