Norwegian minister: Europe's gas crisis far from over
Norwegian Minister of Trade and Industry Jan Christian Vestre has said that the gas crisis in Europe has not gone away and is far from over. In addition, any prediction is still impossible.
He made the remarks in an interview with the Handelsblatt newspaper, Gazeta.ru reports.
“It is too early to say that the European gas supply crisis is over. At the same time, the development of demand and prices is also impossible to predict for sure,” said Vestre.
According to him, he was happy to see how Germany and other countries of the European Union (EU) managed to change the sources of fuel supply.
He added that Norway is not yet able to increase the volume of gas supplies to other countries and the situation in this matter will not change in the short term.
