Official: Azerbaijan actively helps Ukraine
Adviser to the head of the Ukrainian presidential office Mykhailo Podolyak has said that countries should understand the humanitarian or social risks associated with an attack on critical infrastructure, especially energy, this is important for Ukraine.
“Ukraine’s entire defence system has been built differently this year. The number of missile and anti-aircraft systems has been increased. Of course, we have experience in repelling attacks on critical infrastructure over the past year. It is possible to create both dynamic and stationary protection,” Podolyak said in an interview with Report’s Eastern European Bureau.
“However, the most important point here is the help of other countries in the supply of components, not only generators and electrical cables. Azerbaijan also actively helped us in this sphere,” the adviser noted.
He added that this characterises Azerbaijan positively.
