Azerbaijani Parliament speaker visiting Switzerland

The delegation headed by Azerbaijan's Milli Majlis (Parliament) Speaker Sahiba Gafarova is on a working visit to Geneva, Switzerland.

Azerbaijan's Ambassador to Switzerland Fuad Isgandarov, Permanent Representative of Azerbaijan to the UN Geneva Office Galib Israfilov and other officials met Sahiba Gafarova at the International Airport of Geneva, the Parliament's press service told Caliber.Az.

Within the visit, Gafarova will take part in the work of the 149th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, hold meetings with the heads of delegations of the member states and other officials.

The speaker of the Azerbaijani parliament is also expected to deliver a speech at the 149th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union.
