Pakistan Air Force claims unbeaten victory, downs six Indian aircraft
Senior Pakistan Air Force (PAF) officer, Air Vice Marshal Aurangzeb, has declared that PAF had achieved a decisive 6-0 victory over the Indian Air Force during the recent conflict.
In a press conference, Aurangzeb praised the performance of the PAF in responding effectively to Indian aggression, Caliber.Az reports, citing Pakistani media.
“PAF maintained full preparedness both in peace and wartime. We followed the instructions of the Air Chief and exercised our right to self-defence by targeting those who attacked Pakistan,” he stated.
He detailed that all incoming Indian drones and missiles were tracked as part of Pakistan’s air defence operations.
The PAF successfully jammed enemy drones, disrupted their data transmission, and applied both soft and hard kill techniques, he said, adding that the "hard kill" approach was only used in areas where civilians were present to minimise collateral damage.
The Air Vice Marshal added that the Pakistan Air Force utilised its full operational capabilities, successfully identifying and destroying all hostile drones. He revealed that BrahMos missiles, used by India during the escalation, were also intercepted and destroyed before impact. “These missile attacks were direct threats to Pakistan’s sovereignty,” he said.
He further revealed a critical failure on India’s part, stating that Indian missiles launched from Amritsar had inadvertently struck their own civilian areas. In contrast, Pakistan’s hypersonic missiles, drones, and other precision-guided systems successfully struck designated targets.
Concluding the briefing, Aurangzeb confirmed that PAF brought down six Indian aircraft while sustaining zero losses, affirming that all Pakistani jets remained safe and operational throughout the engagement.
