Pakistan pledges support for Karabakh reconstruction through investments

Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, Chairman of the Senate of Pakistan, has affirmed his country’s willingness to invest in the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan, signalling growing economic cooperation between the two nations.

Speaking to domestic media, Gilani highlighted the strong and expanding economic ties between Pakistan and Azerbaijan, noting that several agreements have already been reached on key economic issues.

“During my last visit to Azerbaijan, I met with the country’s president. We discussed several important economic and development-related matters, which were agreed upon. Later, when the Prime Minister of Pakistan visited Azerbaijan, a number of documents were signed. In other words, we are actively developing our relations, and our trade and economic ties are at a high level. Undoubtedly, we are also ready to invest in Karabakh,” he said.
