Pakistan's Senate chairman arrives in Azerbaijan PHOTO

Pakistan’s Senate Chairman Yusuf Raza Gilani has arrived in Baku to participate in the International Parliamentary Conference dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the adoption of Azerbaijan's Constitution.

Gilani was welcomed at Heydar Aliyev International Airport by Azerbaijani Parliament’s Deputy Speaker Musa Gasimli, head of the Azerbaijan-Pakistan interparliamentary friendship group Kamaladdin Gafarov, and other officials, Caliber.Az reports per local media. 

An international parliamentary conference dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the adoption of Azerbaijan’s Constitution will be held in the Milli Majlis (Parliament) on October 29. 

Parliamentary delegations from around 20 countries and representatives of five international organisations are expected to attend the event.
