Peace, prosperity, and brotherhood: Erdogan’s Novruz message to Azerbaijan
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has sent heartfelt congratulations to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on the occasion of Novruz, a holiday marking the arrival of spring and the renewal of nature.
The message was shared through the press service of the Azerbaijani President, per Caliber.Az.
In his letter, Erdogan addressed Aliyev with warm words, calling him “my dear Brother” and expressing his sincere wishes for the holiday.
He wrote, "On the occasion of Novruz, a holiday when nature is reborn, the earth awakens, and hopes blossom, I extend my most sincere congratulations to Your Excellency and the friendly people of Azerbaijan."
Erdogan reflected on the centuries-old tradition of Novruz, emphasizing its significance. "Our centuries-old tradition of Novruz reminds us once again this year of the importance of peace, brotherhood, and solidarity," he wrote.
"I hope that Novruz will herald a time when hopes for world peace are nurtured, and international dialogue and cooperation reach new heights. Strengthening the deep-rooted ties of friendship and brotherhood between our countries and further enhancing our cooperation is our sincere wish on this Novruz holiday," the Turkish leader stressed.
He concluded the letter by sending his best wishes: "On this meaningful day, I wish Your Excellency good health and happiness, and to the brotherly people of Azerbaijan, a future filled with peace, prosperity, and well-being."
