Poland to deploy Patriot missile launchers near border with Ukraine

Deputy Prime Minister and Polish Minister of Defence Mariusz Blaszczak has said that he welcomes the proposal of his German counterpart to deploy additional Patriot missile launchers in Poland.

He said he would offer to place them near the border with Ukraine, European Pravda reports.

"I gladly welcomed the German defence minister’s proposal to deploy additional Patriot launchers in our country. I will propose to place the system near the border with Ukraine during today's [November 21] telephone conversation with the German side", Blaszczak said.
