President Aliyev arrives in Tajikistan for CIS summit photo

At the invitation of Tajik President Emomali Rahmon, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, arrived in Dushanbe on October 9 to attend the meeting of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) Heads of State Council.

According to local media, upon arrival at Dushanbe International Airport, a guard of honour was arranged in tribute to the Azerbaijani leader.

President Aliyev was greeted by Rustam Emomali, Chairman of the National Assembly of the Supreme Assembly of Tajikistan, along with other senior officials.
