President Aliyev arrives in St. Petersburg to attend informal CIS meeting PHOTO

Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Russia’s St. Petersburg city on December 26 on the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin to take part in the informal meeting of the CIS heads of state.

President Aliyev was met at the Pulkovo-2 airport by St. Petersburg governor Alexander Beglov, the Leningrad Oblast governor Alexander Drozdenko, and other officials, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Azerbaijan president’s press service.
