President Aliyev attends groundbreaking ceremony for administrative building in Gubadli

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attended a groundbreaking ceremony for the administrative building in the city of Gubadli.

The head of state was informed of the project, Azertag reports.

The building will house training and meeting rooms as well as multipurpose workspaces.

The head of state has also attended a groundbreaking ceremony for the Mahruzlu village of the Gubadli district.

The head of state was informed about the project of the village.

More than 2,700 people (690 families) are planned to be settled in the Mahruzlu village, which is located 19 kilometers from the Gubadli district center. The total projected area of the village is 197 hectares. The first phase will see the construction of 145 houses and a settlement of 649 people.

The foundation stone for the village of Khanlig of the Gubadli district has been laid.

The village is located on the bank of the Hakari river, 16 km away from the center of the Gubadli district. The total projected area of the village is 273 hectares.

The first phase will see construction of 356 houses for 1357 people. In the long run, over 4 thousand residents (1024 families) are planned to be relocated.

The facilities to be constructed in the village will include an administrative building, school, kindergarten etc.

President Ilham Aliyev laid the foundation stone for the village of Khanlig.

Ilham Aliyev also took part in laying the foundation stone for the 91-bed Central Hospital in the city of Gubadli.

The head of state was informed of the hospital project.

The hospital will be built on an area of more than 4.5 hectares.

Azerbaijani leader participated in the ceremony of the laying of the foundation stone for a 600-seat secondary school in the city of Gubadli.
