President Aliyev: Azerbaijan satisfied with current level of relations with Mongolia
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has said that the current level of relations between Azerbaijan and Mongolia is a source of satisfaction, describing the ties as being based on mutual respect and trust, in a congratulatory message to Mongolian President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh on the country's national day.
"The current level of Azerbaijan–Mongolia relations, based on mutual respect and trust, is a source of satisfaction. We attach special importance to the comprehensive development of these relations, which are built on good traditions," the Azerbaijani leader said in his letter, Caliber.Az reports per state media.
The Azerbaijani president also congratulated Khurelsukh and the people of Mongolia on the occasion of the country's national holiday on July 11, wishing the Mongolian president good health and success, and the people of Mongolia lasting peace and prosperity.
“On my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan, I extend to you and, through you, to the entire people of your country, my sincerest congratulations and best wishes on the occasion of July 11 – the national holiday of Mongolia,” he wrote.
The Azerbaijani president also expressed confidence that the two countries would continue working together to strengthen their friendly relations and expand cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
“I am confident that we will continue to make joint efforts to further strengthen the friendly relations between our countries and expand our cooperation in a number of areas of mutual interest for the benefit of our peoples,” the letter reads.
