President Aliyev completes official visit to UAE PHOTO

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev concluded his working visit to the United Arab Emirates on January 14. 

A guard of honour was arranged for the Azerbaijani President at Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi, Caliber.Az reports via local media. President Ilham Aliyev was seen off by officials before departing.

Earlier, during a meeting in Abu Dhabi President Ilham Aliyev and UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan discussed the growing strategic partnership between their countries.

The leaders emphasized strong political ties, expanding economic cooperation, and mutual contributions to global initiatives, including the successful COP29 summit. Both presidents reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral relations and addressing regional and global challenges.

President Aliyev praised the UAE's involvement in COP29, while also highlighting investments in Azerbaijan's renewable energy sector and the ongoing collaboration in the energy sector. They underscored the stability and peace between the two nations.
