President Aliyev, first lady inspect work at new Jabrayil District Central Hospital PHOTO
On May 9, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva inspected the progress of construction works at the 150-bed Jabrayil District Central Hospital.
Minister of Health Teymur Musayev informed the head of state and the First Lady about the work completed to date and the next stages of the project, Caliber.Az reports per state media.
The foundation of the hospital was laid by President Ilham Aliyev in 2021. The complex spans an area of nearly 5 hectares. The hospital will comprise departments of therapy, surgery, pediatrics, obstetrics, infectious diseases, anesthesiology and intensive care, and hemodialysis, among others.
Furthermore, a polyclinic, radiology and functional diagnostics units, physiotherapy and medical rehabilitation departments, as well as a clinical diagnostic laboratory will be established. Construction is currently ongoing on the main building, as well as the infectious diseases, hemodialysis and polyclinic blocks, the emergency medical station, and the Jabrayil District Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology.
