President Aliyev hails strong Azerbaijan-Poland ties in Constitution Day message
Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev has extended congratulations to Poland and its people on the occasion of May 3 – Constitution Day, highlighting strong bilateral ties and prospects for expanded cooperation.
In his message addressed to Karol Nawrocki, President of the Republic of Poland, Aliyev expressed sincere congratulations on his own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan, marking the national holiday dedicated to Poland’s constitutional heritage, Caliber.Az reports via the state media.
The president emphasized that relations between Azerbaijan and Poland are grounded in deep historical roots and longstanding traditions of friendship.
He noted that both sides attach “special importance” to the development of interstate relations and mutually beneficial cooperation, underlining the significant potential that exists for further advancement.
“I believe that we will continue our joint efforts to expand friendship between our countries, enhance our strategic partnership, and develop our mutual interaction both bilaterally and within the framework of the European Union,” the letter read.
Concluding his address, President Aliyev wished the Polish leadership robust health, success in their activities, and extended wishes of lasting peace and prosperity to the people of Poland, framing the occasion as a symbol of enduring goodwill between the two nations.
