President Aliyev honours Serbia’s National Day, highlights growing partnership
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has sent a congratulatory letter to Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić on Serbia’s national day, highlighting the strong and growing ties between the two countries.
In his message, Aliyev described Serbia as a friendly country and a reliable strategic partner, emphasising that the relationship is built on mutual support and trust, Caliber.Az reports per state agency.
He noted that frequent high-level visits and active political dialogue have created opportunities for accelerated development of bilateral cooperation.
“Today, our friendship and cooperation, founded on such solid principles, are expanding and taking on new dimensions. I fondly recall our recent meeting in Davos,” Aliyev wrote. He expressed confidence that joint efforts would further broaden traditionally friendly relations and foster mutually beneficial cooperation both bilaterally and multilaterally.
Aliyev concluded by wishing Vučić personal health and success, and the Serbian people continued peace and prosperity, underscoring the forward-looking vision of deepened strategic partnership.
