President Aliyev: Liberation of Lachin from occupation - historical event UPDATED

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has said that the second Karabakh war is Azerbaijan’s glorious history.

The president made the remarks during his speech after raising the Azerbaijani flag in Lachin city on September 21, Report informs.

President Aliyev noted that the liberation of the Lachin district and Lachin city from occupation is a historic event.

The president noted that Armenian vandalism is obvious in every village, in every city.

“We see again that Armenia does not want peace, it still has revanchist ideas. No one can talk to us in the language of an ultimatum," he said.

“I hope that the first group of Lachin residents will be able to return to Lachin city till late 2023,” President Aliyev said.
