President Aliyev meets top Chinese leaders during Beijing visit PHOTO

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev continued his official visit to the People’s Republic of China with a series of high-level engagements in the Chinese capital.

As part of his visit, President Aliyev held a meeting with Li Qiang, Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China, Caliber.Az reports via local media.

On the same day, President Aliyev also met with Zhao Leji, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of China. 

In addition to these diplomatic meetings, President Ilham Aliyev paid tribute to China's history and its people by visiting the Monument to the People’s Heroes in Tiananmen Square. The monument, which honors those who lost their lives in the revolutionary struggles of modern China, is a symbol of national pride and remembrance.
