President Aliyev highlights potential to broaden Azerbaijan-Indonesia ties

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has congratulated Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto and the people of Indonesia on the country’s Independence Day, expressing confidence in further strengthening bilateral ties.

In a letter addressed to President Subianto, Aliyev pointed to ample opportunities for Azerbaijan and Indonesia to expand ties in areas of mutual interest, particularly the economic, investment and humanitarian fields, Caliber.Az reports.

“I am confident that we will continue to strengthen the friendship and cooperation between Azerbaijan and Indonesia for the well-being of our peoples,” the Azerbaijani leader stated.

Wrapping up the message, Aliyev wished Subianto robust health, happiness and success in his high state office, while expressing hopes that the friendly people of Indonesia would enjoy lasting peace and prosperity.
