President Aliyev receives Türkiye’s chief prosecutor, highlights strategic ties PHOTO

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev received Muhsin Şentürk, Prosecutor General of the Supreme Court of Appeal of the Republic of Türkiye, underscoring the deepening strategic partnership between the two countries.

During the meeting, Şentürk expressed gratitude for the reception and conveyed the greetings of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. President Aliyev thanked him and asked that his own greetings be extended in return, Caliber.Az reports, citing state media.

Both sides highlighted the strong development of bilateral relations, rooted in brotherhood and strategic alliance, noting that Azerbaijan and Türkiye remain among the closest partners in the world.

The discussions also focused on cooperation between the prosecutorial bodies of the two countries. The sides praised the effective collaboration within the framework of the Organisation of Turkic States and stressed the importance of expanding exchanges of experience.

The meeting concluded with an exchange of views on prospects for further strengthening cooperation across multiple areas.
