President: Azerbaijan important partner of Poland in South Caucasus
Polish President Andrzej Duda has said that Azerbaijan is a very important partner of Poland in the South Caucasus region.
He made the remarks in a congratulatory sent letter to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on Independence Day, Azertag reported on June 2.
"Dear Mr. President! On behalf of the Republic of Poland and on my own behalf I have the honour to convey to you, your country and all your citizens my sincere congratulations and best wishes on the occasion of the National Day of the Republic of Azerbaijan - Independence Day.
Dynamically developing bilateral relations between the Republic of Poland and the Republic of Azerbaijan is the best expression of mutual respect, sympathy and the importance attached to cooperation between our countries. Azerbaijan is a very important partner of Poland in the South Caucasus region, and we want to deepen cooperation with your country in many areas - economic, political and cultural. We are particularly interested in further development of economic cooperation and bringing it to a level corresponding to the high economic potential of our countries.
I wish you, Mr President, health, prosperity and success in your country's comprehensive development, and peace and harmony to all the citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Mr President, I take this opportunity to repeat my invitation to visit Poland at a time convenient for you," the letter reads.
