President Ilham Aliyev congratulates Paraguay on Independence Day

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has sent a congratulatory letter to the President of the Republic of Paraguay, Santiago Peña, on the occasion of Paraguay’s Independence Day.

In his message, President Aliyev extended his congratulations to President Peña and the people of Paraguay, expressing best wishes on behalf of himself and the Azerbaijani people, Caliber.Az reports.

“Dear Mr. President, on my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan, I cordially congratulate you, and through you, all your people on the occasion of the national holiday of the Republic of Paraguay – the Independence Day,” the message reads.

President Aliyev expressed confidence that Azerbaijan and Paraguay would continue joint efforts to develop friendly relations and expand cooperation both bilaterally and multilaterally.

“I believe that we will continue to make joint efforts to develop friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Paraguay, and expand our cooperation both bilaterally and multilaterally,” he noted.

He also conveyed his wishes for peace, prosperity, and well-being for the Paraguayan people, along with health and success for President Peña.

“On such a festive day, I wish you robust health, happiness, success in your endeavors, and the friendly people of Paraguay peace and prosperity,” the Azerbaijani leader stated.
