President Ilham Aliyev endorses agreements with UN, Ethiopia
President Ilham Aliyev has ratified an agreement between Azerbaijan and the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, the Kyoto Protocol, and the Paris Agreement, formalized through an exchange of letters on June 7 this year.
The relevant information was published on the official website of the Azerbaijani President, Caliber.Az reports.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan has been directed to notify the secretariat once all domestic procedures required for the agreement's entry into force have been completed.
Additionally, President Aliyev has approved a memorandum of understanding between Azerbaijan's State Agency for Citizens' Services and Social Innovation and the Ethiopian Public Service Commission, signed in Baku on May 14 this year.
The State Agency for Citizens' Services and Social Innovation has been tasked with implementing the provisions of the memorandum once it enters into force. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan has been instructed to notify the Ethiopian government of the completion of domestic procedures required for the memorandum's entry into force.
