SOCAR to become global energy sponsor of Italy’s national football teams PHOTO

Azerbaijan’s state oil company, SOCAR, will become the Top Global Energy Sponsor of Italy’s men’s and women’s national football teams under a four-year strategic partnership with the Italian Football Federation.

SOCAR and the Italian Football Federation signed the Strategic Cooperation Agreement on September 26 as part of the Second Azerbaijan International Investment Forum, held under the patronage of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Caliber.Az reports per SOCAR.

The sponsorship will run from January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2030, with the agreement also providing for a possible two-year extension through 2032.
