President Ilham Aliyev receives global congratulatory messages on his birthday

On December 24, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev will celebrate his 63rd birthday.

Congratulations have already begun pouring in from world leaders, recognizing his leadership and the growth of Azerbaijan under his guidance, Caliber.Az reports citing local media.

Xi Jinping, President of China, sent his congratulations, highlighting the significant progress in China-Azerbaijan relations. He noted the "remarkable development" of bilateral ties, emphasizing the high level of mutual trust and cooperation between the two countries. He also pointed out the successful implementation of joint projects, particularly under the "Belt and Road" initiative, and expressed his desire to continue strengthening the partnership. "Our countries have entered a new phase of strategic cooperation, and I look forward to building on this foundation for the benefit of both our peoples," Xi remarked.

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko conveyed his best wishes, praising President Aliyev’s leadership in positioning Azerbaijan as a key player in the Turkic world. Lukashenko also recalled their recent meeting in Baku, where the two leaders discussed various matters of mutual interest. He expressed his confidence that Azerbaijan’s global influence would continue to grow, especially following its successful hosting of the COP29 climate forum. "Under your leadership, Azerbaijan continues to gain international recognition," Lukashenko remarked, wishing Aliyev continued health and prosperity.

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin congratulated the Azerbaijani leader, recognizing his role in enhancing Russian-Azerbaijani relations. Mishustin emphasized the strong partnership between the two countries, particularly in areas such as trade, cultural exchanges, and joint projects. He looked forward to further deepening these ties and continued collaboration. "Your efforts in strengthening our bilateral relations are highly valued," Mishustin said, extending his best wishes for health and continued success.

Serdar Berdimuhamedov, President of Turkmenistan, also sent his congratulations, praising the achievements Azerbaijan has made under President Aliyev’s leadership. He highlighted Azerbaijan's progress in socio-economic development and reaffirmed the strong and friendly relations between Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan. "I am confident that our cooperation will continue to thrive for the benefit of our nations," Berdimuhamedov stated, wishing Aliyev good health and happiness.

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, National Leader of the Turkmen People, also extended his birthday greetings, acknowledging the many accomplishments of Azerbaijan under Aliyev’s guidance. He remarked on the country’s growth in various sectors, particularly its global standing, which he attributed to the President's leadership. "Azerbaijan’s success in both political and economic spheres is a direct result of your efforts," Berdimuhamedov commented, wishing Aliyev continued success in his future endeavours.

Sergei Melikov, Head of the Republic of Dagestan, Russia, sent his best wishes, recognizing President Aliyev’s long-term leadership and his success in advancing Azerbaijan’s interests. He reflected on the enduring friendship and cooperation between Dagestan and Azerbaijan and expressed confidence that these ties would continue to deepen. "Your leadership has brought remarkable progress to Azerbaijan, and I look forward to further strengthening our bilateral relations," Melikov remarked.

Igor Babushkin, Governor of Astrakhan, Russia, also offered his congratulations, emphasizing Azerbaijan’s growing international influence and its contributions to global affairs. He expressed his gratitude for Aliyev’s support in strengthening the ties between Astrakhan and Azerbaijan, noting that their cooperation would continue to flourish. "Under your leadership, Azerbaijan is making significant strides, and I am confident our partnership will continue to thrive," Babushkin concluded.

As President Aliyev celebrates this milestone, the warm messages from these global leaders underscore his pivotal role in advancing Azerbaijan’s development and fostering strong international relationships.
