Presidents of Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan visit international AI center in Astana PHOTO

Presidents Kassym-Jomart Tokayev of Kazakhstan and Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan visited the Alem.AI International Artificial Intelligence Center in Astana, Caliber.Az reports, citing the press service of the President of Kazakhstan (Akorda).

During the visit, the leaders were briefed on the development of digital technologies and the application of artificial intelligence in various sectors.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development Zhaslan Madiyev presented the AI-Driven Government concept, a situational centre designed to analyse and manage state processes and facilitate GovTech decision-making.

The presidents were shown Smart City technologies, a robotics zone, and Samruk-Kazyna projects aimed at implementing AI across different industries.

They also learned about the activities of the Astana Hub innovation cluster, which unites over 1,800 IT companies and startups, including more than 460 with foreign participation.

Kazakh companies showcasing their developments, which have successfully entered international markets, were also presented to Presidents Tokayev and Aliyev.
