Putin apologizes to Israeli Prime Minister for Lavrov's remarks about Jews
Vladimir Putin apologized by phone to Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Benet for Sergei Lavrov's remarks about Jews. At the same time, there is no mention of this in the Kremlin's release.

According to the publication, Putin apologized to Benet during today's telephone conversation. According to him, the Israeli Prime Minister received them and thanked the head of the Kremlin for the clarification.
The Kremlin's report on Putin's telephone conversation with Benet did not mention an apology. It was noted that the head of the Kremlin congratulated the Israeli prime minister on the country's 74th Independence Day. The leaders also exchanged views on the situation in Ukraine, including the evacuation of civilians from the Azovstal Mariupol steel plant.
