Russian airstrike kills two in Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia region Photo
At least two people were killed and twelve others injured, including four children, after a Russian airstrike hit Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia district on August 6.
The head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Administration, Ivan Fedorov, said on Telegram that the strike caused significant damage to residential buildings, Caliber.Az reports.
“An airstrike damaged buildings. At least three people were initially reported injured,” he said.
Fedorov later confirmed that two people had been killed and that the number of injured had risen to twelve. Among the wounded, five individuals – including some in serious condition – were taken to the hospital for treatment.
He added that at least nine buildings had sustained damage as a result of the attack.
