Russia favours comprehensive solution to space militarisation - Kremlin
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has said that Russia favours a comprehensive solution to the issue of space militarisation.
He made the remarks at a briefing on May 21, according to Gazeta.ru.
Asked by a journalist whether the Kremlin sees risks of space militarisation, Peskov advised to pay attention to those who oppose the adoption of a UN Security Council (UNSC) resolution on space.
"I would like to answer briefly. Firstly, of course, our intelligence services are doing their job. Secondly, we are simply asking you to pay attention to the fact that we failed to reach the adoption of the relevant resolution on outer space. This speaks volumes about who is opposed and what the Russian side is proposing. The answer is very simple: we are in favour of a comprehensive solution to this issue. Look at who is opposed and you will answer your own question," Peskov shared.
