08 November 2025 09:38

The State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SESU) has published images showing the aftermath of a new Russian drone attack on Kyiv, Telegram channel ASTRA reports.

According to the SESU, Russia launched another air assault on the Ukrainian capital early in the morning. In the Pechersk district, emergency crews responded to two separate incidents.

At one location, four light-duty trucks caught fire, while two nearby buildings and a parked car sustained damage. At another site, rescuers extinguished a blaze caused by debris from a downed drone before it could spread. All fires were brought under control, and there were no reported casualties.

Overnight, Dnipro and several districts in the surrounding Dnipropetrovsk region also came under attack. In Dnipro, a multi-storey residential building was hit by an enemy drone, damaging several apartments and sparking a fire. Preliminary reports indicate that one woman was killed, ten people were injured, including two children aged 2 and 13.

Elsewhere in the region, a private house in the Samarovsky district caught fire following an attack, while in Pavlohrad, loud explosions damaged a local store. Infrastructure damage was also recorded in the Synelnykove district.

Meanwhile, a series of explosions was reported overnight in the outskirts of Kharkiv. Residents posted about the blasts on social media. Later, Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov confirmed that the explosions heard in the city actually occurred outside the urban area.
