Poland receives latest Abrams tanks, defence minister announces

A new batch of US M1 Abrams tanks in the latest M1A2 SEPv3 configuration has arrived in Poland, Polish Defence Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz has announced.

Sharing a post on X, he said the 35 tanks will soon join the 18th Mechanised Division of the Polish Armed Forces, Caliber.Az reports.

“We are strengthening the defence capabilities of the Polish Armed Forces and consistently modernising the Polish Army. Modern equipment, well-trained personnel and combat readiness are the foundations of Poland’s security,” Kosiniak-Kamysz wrote.
