Russian leader: Azerbaijan enjoys well-deserved prestige on world stage

Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that Azerbaijan enjoys well-deserved prestige on the world stage.

He made the remarks in a congratulatory letter sent to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on Azerbaijan's national holiday - Independence Day.

Please accept my heartfelt congratulations on the occasion of the national holiday of the Republic of Azerbaijan - Independence Day. Your country has made impressive progress in the economic and social fields. Azerbaijan enjoys well-deserved prestige on the world stage and plays an active role in solving many important issues on the international agenda.

Russian-Azerbaijani relations have reached the level of allied interaction. Constructive bilateral cooperation in various areas is developing dynamically.
