Russian shelling kills five, injures eleven in Ukraine's Kharkiv
Over the past 24 hours, ten settlements in Ukraine’s Kharkiv region came under Russian shelling, resulting in five deaths and eleven injuries, Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, said on Telegram.
Among the deceased were men aged 49 and 66 in Staryi Saltiv, women aged 70 and 68 in Podoly and Kupiansk-Uzlovyi, and a 69-year-old man in Kupiansk-Uzlovyi. The injured include men aged 37, 38, 41, 43, 47, 48, and 39, as well as women aged 67 and 68, the post reads, Caliber.Az reports.
Additionally, medical assistance was provided to a 27-year-old man injured by an explosion of an unknown object in the forest near the village of Boholiubivka.
Civilian infrastructure was also damaged or destroyed, including an apartment building in Ivashky, Bohodukhiv district; a car in Ivanivka, Kupiansk district; a private house in Verkhnia Samara, Lozova district; and a facility in Korobochkyne, Chuhuiv district. Rescue teams continue to assess the impact of the attacks and provide aid to those affected.
