Secondary schools in Lachin to be renovated
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has signed an order on measures aimed at designing, overhauling, and restoring the building of a full secondary school in Lachin District’s Zabukh village.
Under the decree, the country’s Ministry of Science and Education has been allocated 300,000 ($176,470) to renovate the school, Caliber.Az reports with reference to the president’s press service.
At the same time, the Ministry of Finance was instructed to provide the amount specified in this order, and the Cabinet of Ministers - to resolve issues arising from the order.
In another order, President Aliyev instructed the government to carry out the same measures at Secondary School No. 2 in the city of Lachin.
According to the order, 800,000 manats ($470,000) were initially allocated to the Ministry of Science and Education for this purpose.
Both orders come into force from the date of signing, September 22.
