Serbian president warns of difficult days ahead
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has issued a sombre message to the nation, highlighting the challenges that Serbia is poised to face in the near future.
In a post on his Instagram page, Vucic emphasized the gravity of the situation and underscored the need for resilience in confronting the impending difficulties, Caliber.Az reports.
Vucic's message comes amidst heightened tensions and uncertainties, with the president expressing concerns over recent developments that directly impact Serbia's vital national interests.
"It is now difficult to say what news we have received in the last 48 hours... It directly threatens the vital national interests of both Serbia and the Republika Srpska," he remarked.
In light of these challenges, Vucic pledged to keep the people of Serbia informed about the upcoming issues that the country will face. "It will be hard. We will fight. Serbia will win," he assured, signalling a determination to navigate through the turbulent times ahead.
The president's statement follows recent remarks regarding the possibility of Serbia withdrawing from the Council of Europe. Vucic had expressed concerns that Kosovo's potential admission to the organization could result in Serbia's expulsion, a move that he deemed detrimental to Serbia's interests.
