As the world welcomed the vibrant celebrations of Novruz, a spring festival that symbolizes renewal and unity, regional leaders took the opportunity to extend their warm congratulations to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, offering heartfelt messages of peace, prosperity, and continued cooperation.

The details of the letters were shared on the official website of the head of state, per Caliber.Az.

In his message, Masoud Pezeshkian, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, expressed his sincere wishes to President Aliyev and the people of Azerbaijan: "It is with heartfelt sincerity that I extend my warmest congratulations to Your Excellency and the esteemed people of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the auspicious occasion of Nowruz, the ancient festival of the reawakening of nature, the hopeful dawn of a prosperous future and the beginning of the year 1404 of the Solar Hijri calendar."

He further highlighted the significance of spring, describing it as the "epitome of nature's harmony" and a time for "the spirit of kindness, empathy, and rejuvenation of life." Pezeshkian expressed his hope that this new year would foster "a remarkable transformation in the amicable relations between our two countries" and wished for the well-being and prosperity of both nations. He concluded with prayers for President Aliyev’s health and success, along with the continued expansion of relations within the Nowruz region.

Georgia’s Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze also shared a thoughtful message, emphasizing the holiday’s symbolism of "new life, unity, and prosperity," which aligns with the strategic partnership between the two nations: "This holiday holds great significance in the context of the friendship and strategic partnership between our countries. I wish you and the people of Azerbaijan peace, tranquility, prosperity, and extend my best wishes to you."

Kobakhidze expressed his deep appreciation for the "traditional sincere and friendly neighborhood ties" between Georgia and Azerbaijan, underscoring the importance of multilateral cooperation in their shared regional interests. He reiterated that their collaboration served as an "exemplary model" for the development of both peoples and that such cooperation would continue to be vital for maintaining peace and stability in the region.

Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev also joined in the heartfelt congratulations, recalling the long-standing cultural ties between the two nations: "For centuries, our brotherly peoples have celebrated and valued this unique holiday, which embodies the noble values of mutual compassion and care, kindness, unity, and friendship, and calls on humanity to live in harmony with nature." He added that the ongoing efforts between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan had elevated their relations to the level of a "strategic partnership and alliance," bringing immense joy to both peoples.

Mirziyoyev expressed confidence that the dialogue between their nations would continue to flourish, with joint efforts leading to dynamic progress in their friendship and cooperation. He concluded with his wishes for "strong health, happiness, and great success" to President Aliyev and his family, and for "peace, tranquility, sustainable development, and prosperity" to the people of Azerbaijan.
