Strong earthquake recorded in Afghanistan

The second earthquake in Afghanistan in a day, this time with a magnitude of 6.6, was recorded by seismic stations in Kazakhstan on August 5 evening.
The epicentre is located 851 km southwest of Alma-Ata in Afghanistan. The outbreak lay at a depth of 35 km, TASS reports, citing the network of seismic stations "SOME" of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan.
According to the Afghan agency TOLOnews, on August 5 at 20:31 Afghan time, an earthquake of magnitude 5.8 was felt in Kabul.
It is reported that the epicentre of the earthquake was located 75 km south of Faizabad, in the province of Badakhshan. No reports of casualties or damage have yet been received.
