Syrian National Army increases number of fighters

The Syrian National Army has added 5,000 new fighters to its ranks.

The new recruits were trained in the zone of the Turkish Armed Forces' counter-terrorist operation "Olive Branch,” Anadolu reports.

The swearing-in ceremony took place in the town of Sheikh Hadid.

The replacements will join the Hamza and Suleyman Shah brigades.

Its tasks will include securing the areas in northern Syria that have been cleared of terrorists.

The Syrian National Army is operating in the zone of the Turkish Armed Forces' counter-terrorist operations "Euphrates Shield", "Source of Peace" and "Olive Branch".
