Top official: Military orchestra performs Azerbaijani song in Slovak reception Video

During Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev's official visit to Slovakia, a special cultural moment unfolded at a reception hosted by Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico.

At the event, the Slovak military orchestra performed the Azerbaijani song “Qurban olum Azərbaycan," playing it on the traditional Slovak musical instrument, the cimbalom, Azerbaijani Presidential Aide Hikmet Hajiyev wrote on X, Caliber.Az reports. 

"During President Ilham Aliyev’s official visit to Slovakia, at the reception hosted by Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico, the military orchestra is performing song 'Qurban olum Azərbaycan' with great professionalism on the Slovak traditional musical instrument, the cimbalom," Hajiyev wrote, sharing the video.
