Türkiye's recent operations underscore its steadfast dedication to combating terrorism and bolstering regional security. These measures form part of a strategic effort aimed at disrupting terrorist activities and maintaining stability in the regions concerned.
Turkish authorities use the term "neutralise" to describe situations where terrorists either surrender, are killed, or are captured during such operations.
The PKK, recognised as a terrorist organisation by Türkiye, the United States, and the European Union, has led a 40-year campaign of violence against Türkiye, which has claimed more than 40,000 lives, including those of women and children.
