TURKSOY's Secretary-General: Large-scale events in Shusha will reverberate

Since Shusha is the cultural capital of the Turkic world, rich, memorable programs will be implemented here that will reverberate.

Sultan Raev, Secretary General of the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY) made the statement while talking to Report.

He noted that after the city of Shusha was declared the cultural capital of the Turkic world by the decision of TURKSOY's Permanent Council in 2023, a joint action plan was developed with Azerbaijan's Ministry of Culture by the special order of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev in accordance with the Action Plan of the Cabinet of Ministers.

The international music festival "Kharibulbul" is being held, and the official opening ceremony of the event "Shusha - the cultural capital of the Turkic world 2023" will be held under the action plan.

Sultan Raev said that the opening of the third international film festival of the Turkic world "Dede Gorgud" will take place in Shusha.

The secretary-general noted that the final event is scheduled for November: "At the closing, the baton will be passed to the city of Anev (Turkmenistan), the cultural capital of the Turkic world in 2024."
