Azerbaijan clears over 1,840 hectares in latest demining efforts ANAMA weekly report

A total of 1,840.3 hectares of territory liberated from occupation were cleared of mines and unexploded ordnance between September 14 and 20, according to the Azerbaijan Mine Action Agency (ANAMA).

The clearance operations covered the Tartar, Aghdara, Kalbajar, Aghdam, Khojaly, Khojavand, Lachin, Shusha, Fuzuli, Gubadli, Jabrayil, Gazakh and Zangilan districts, as well as the city of Khankendi, Caliber.Az reports.

During the reporting period, demining teams detected and neutralised 204 anti-personnel mines, 65 anti-tank mines and 745 pieces of unexploded ordnance, ANAMA said in its weekly report.
