Twelve injured as Russian strikes target Ukraine's Kharkiv region photo
Russian attacks over the past 24 hours have left at least 12 people injured across the Kharkiv region, according to regional authorities, with both civilians and infrastructure affected in a series of strikes targeting urban and rural areas.
The head of the regional military administration, Oleh Syniehubov, said that the city of Kharkiv and 13 surrounding settlements came under fire during the reporting period.

In Kharkiv itself, those injured include two men aged 48 and 19, along with seven women aged 50, 43, 77, 58, 52, and 79, as well as a 17-year-old girl. In the town of Bohodukhiv, three men aged 64, 45, and 43 sustained injuries as a result of the attacks.
Separately, medical personnel treated a 51-year-old man who had been wounded earlier, on April 19, in the city of Izium.
Syniehubov added that the strikes also caused damage to regional infrastructure, though specific details about the extent and locations of the destruction were not immediately disclosed.
