UAE sends more humanitarian aid to Syria
Three planes with humanitarian cargo for the victims of the earthquake arrived from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in Syria over the past day.
The announcement came on March 1 by Rear Admiral Oleg Gurinov, deputy head of the Russian Center for the Reconciliation of Warring Parties in Syria.
"Through international cooperation, humanitarian aid continues to flow from other countries. Over the past 24 hours, three planes with humanitarian cargo arrived from the United Arab Emirates to the Syrian Arab Republic, including one at the Russian Khmeimim airbase," Gurinov was quoted as saying by TASS.
According to him, in the field hospital deployed in Aleppo, specialists from the medical detachment of the Belarusian armed forces, together with Russian medical workers, continue to provide the necessary assistance to Syrian citizens who suffered from the earthquake.
"In total, since February 17, 1,705 people received assistance, including 151 per day," Gurinov said.
