Ukraine gets another multiple-launch rocket system from France PHOTO

 Ukrainian Defence Minister Oleksii Reznikov has written that the LRU Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS) from France has arrived in Ukraine.

“The 4th brother in the Long Hand family, LRU from France, has arrived in Ukraine! Ukrainian army now is even more powerful for deterring and destroying the enemy. That is a visible result of friendship between Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Emmanuel Macron. Thank you, Sebastien Lecornu, the government and people of France!” Caliber.Az cites Reznikov as saying on Twitter.

Earlier France delivered two LRUs (French modernisation of the MLRS M270) to Ukraine.

This MLRS, like MARS II, is a European variant of the M270A1. The launchers have been equipped with the European Fire Control System (EFCS) developed by Airbus Defence and Space.

Depending on the modification, LRU has a projectile range of at least 80-85 kilometres. The satellite navigation and control system guarantees high accuracy.
